Nomadwings.it is a webpage created by paragliding club “parapendio le streghe” to promote all of its activities.
The ASD and school Parapendio le Streghe was born to improve free flying in the south of Italy with a wide range of professional touristic offers: from beginners courses to cross country guiding by national and international expeditions. Through this sport, also, parapendio le streghe would like to promote one of the best spots in Italy for paragliding: the Matese Mountains.
The club was founded in 2007; the president is Leone Antonio Pascale, an important and famous cross country pilot; he has flown in the Paragliding World Cup and even more impressive he participated two times under the Italian flag in the most important and difficult paragliding competition: Red Bull X Alps.

In its first year, the club immediately achieved an important achievement, ranking 11th in the Italian XC contest, ahead of most of clubs from north Italy. In the 2005 season, the club wins the South Italy challenge with 3 pilots in the first 4 positions. But the most important events organized by the club are of course the Italian paragliding championship (Matese cup) in 2008, the Pre-PWC in the 2009, and the PWC in 2010.

Since 2012, in addition to the organization of events in the Matese Mountains, the club has joined the organization of national and international expeditions in the name of pure cross country and groundhandling: India, Nepal, Kenya-Rift Valley, Morocco, Austria, Slovenia, but also some alpine and pre-alpine destinations with more than hundred of pilots from all over the World.
